About Us

Our service providers at The Collective Behavioural Pathway use strategies and ​principles rooted in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) to support our client’s goals and v​isions. We are committed to serving every individual in our care through collaborat​ive and individualized services by passionate Board-Certified Behaviour Analysts (BC​BA). We provide neurodiverse affirming services for all individuals regardless of class, race,​ sexual orientation, age and gender ide​n​tity.


The Collective Behavioural Pathway provides in-home behavioural services,​ parent coaching, consultations with staff resources and ABA teaching homes and​ school consult​ations.

Founder

AmberLee Kavanagh

AmberLee Kavanagh is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst ​who obtained her Master of Arts Degree in Applied ​Behavior Analysis with emphasis in Autism from Ball State ​University in Indiana. AmberLee has a remarkable ​background in the field of supporting neurodiverse ​individuals and has served a wide range of clients with ​diverse abilities and skills. AmberLee’s passion focuses on ​supporting individuals who exhibit severe aggression and ​self-injury as well as other challenging behaviours. She also ​has experience working collaboratively as part of a team of ​professionals to support individuals in residential settings, ​home, school, and community settings.


When Amber is not working along side her team you can ​find her trying new foods, enjoying nature, playing with her ​dogs or spending time with her nephews.



Board Certified Behaviour Analysts ​(BCBA)

As a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst and Registered ​Autism Service Provider in British Columbia, Mckenna has ​a remarkable background supporting neurodiverse ​individuals aged 2 to 15 across clinical and home settings. ​Her expertise lies in using the evidence-based science of ​Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) to develop ​individualized behaviour analytic programs to support skill ​acquisition and behaviour change. Mckenna's passion is ​rooted in play-based and naturalistic developmental ​behavioural intervention geared towards empowering ​families and bringing laughter and smiles back into daily ​routines. With eight years of professional education in ​Fitness and Health Promotion, Sport Psychology and ​Special Education, Mckenna strives to incorporate the ​human necessity of movement and embraces the richness ​and diversity of the people she serves.


When Mckenna is not playing play-doh with her kiddos, ​you can find her enjoying a rainy day trail run, listening to ​podcasts or enjoying an adult beverage while watching a ​beautiful West Coast sunset.

Kailee Stowe

Kailee Stowe is finishing her undergraduate’s degree in ​Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and is a Board Certified ​Assistant Behaviour Analyst. Beginning in the field of ABA ​at the age of 17, Kailee has over 8 years of experience ​supporting neurodiverse individuals between the ages of 2-​23 years old with diverse skills and abilities. Kailee enjoys ​supporting individuals with a wide variety of daily life ​skills, social skills, and vocational skills within the home, ​school, community, and workplace settings.

When Kailee isn’t working, she is crocheting, spending ​time with close friends, and traveling between Vancouver ​Island and the Lower Mainland to visit her family.



Intern

Simran Bining

Simran Bining is completing her Master’s in Special ​Education - Emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis at ​University of Wisconsin - Whitewater. She is pursuing a ​Board-Certified Behavior Analyst Certification. Simran ​began working in the field of ABA at the age of 22 and has ​a little over 2 years of experience in supporting ​neurodiverse individuals. Simran has experience working ​with children aged 3 to 11 in a home setting, supporting a ​diverse range of skills and abilities. Her passion for helping ​neurodiverse individuals stems from a deep appreciation ​for their unique perspectives and strengths. Simran believes ​that every individual deserves the opportunity to thrive and ​is committed to creating inclusive environments that foster ​growth and understanding.


When Simran is not working, she is either spending time ​with her family and dog or enjoying long walks.

Evidence-based treatment for people ​diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder ​(ASD) to increase the client’s skills and ​reduce challenging behaviours.

Parent Coaching

Training caregivers, guardians and families in ​how to generalize your child’s abilities in the ​home setting.

BCBA Supervision

BCBA supervision for individuals who are pursuing ​advanced degrees and certification in the field of ​Applied Behaviour Analysis
